In 2005 I started working as an Injury Claims Consultant managing personal injury claims for people injured in car accidents. This was an intense learning experience and the gym had to wait. Working in this capacity had the added benefit of gaining a greater understanding and empathy for people rehabilitating from injury.
I started training hard again in 2008 and felt like it really was where I belonged. I decided that I wanted a more muscular, leaner and fitter body and that perhaps competing in bodybuilding was real possibility. I became great friends with a Personal Trainer who has the same passion and we started training together.
I often found myself in Q & A sessions with friends and family talking about training. After thinking long and hard I decided to formalise my training knowledge and enrolled in the Master Trainer course with the Australian Institute of Fitness. Now with my Cert 3 & 4 in fitness it was time to start helping people like you achieve their health and fitness goals.
As a Personal Trainer I want to help people become passionate about their health and fitness. Help injured and sick people get back to being active and with less pain. Help athletes push themselves to new physical heights to excel in their sport. I want to help those carrying a few extra kilos lose weight and those wanting a few extra kilo’s to put on the muscle. Whether it be to improve quality of life, feel better about yourself looking in the mirror or attractive to others, exercise and a healthy diet is what we all need.
I am a Fitness Professional committed to helping people from all walks of life achieve their health and fitness goals
My wife Noina is also a Personal Trainer and runs BeFirmFitness.com, a partner business to Matrix PT, so if you are looking for a female Trainer then by all means get in touch with Noina to check her availability.
